Tobias Buckell pointed this out:
The world’s first and only fire resistant and waterproof hard drive. Direct USB connectivity to a laptop or desktop computer. Enables backup of critical data in the event of crash, computer failure and fire and water-related disasters. Encased hard drive provides protection from dust and dirt.
My computer falling into the ocean—or bursting into flames due to the unrelenting focus of my untamed brain—is something that occasionally plagues me, so count me interested in making an investment. Though at 80GB, it’s a bit too small to hold everything on my hard drive.
I also have ARCs for THE LAST TWILIGHT, and in the interest of doing Good Things With Them, will be giving some away. I need to figure out how many I can spare, though, so I’ll be getting back to you guys on that.
PS: Anyone watch Tin Man? Because a) I still can’t figure out why they called the movie that, b) I loved the four main actors, but I also wanted more build on the yes/no/maybe-I-like-you/angst/angst/alpha man chemistry between DG and Cain, c) it could have been four hours instead of six, but if six, still wanted more character development (less of Cain’s son, too), and d) that doesn’t stop me from wanting more of the series, but only if Alan Cummings and all the same actors are involved.
And, oh dear. I think one of the cats is hunting a mouse in my room. Either that, or he’s stalking the bug resting on the television screen, currently in position over Keanu Reeve’s face. Lucky, lucky.
