I saw this handy reference chart at Kris Reiz’s blog. So perfect. It really cuts to the chase of what being a writer is all about.
As I don’t suffer from a five o’clock shadow, however, the only way I can make a comparison is with my own big brown head of hair, which is quite long and needs regular maintenance in order to keep it from being the perfect nest for medium-sized rodents (I prefer chipmunks), their children and grand-children, and all the food those critters want to store for some cold hard winter. In related news, I turned in the short-story I wrote for MY BIG FAT SUPERNATURAL HONEYMOON, an anthology that will be released some time next year. Twelve thousand words. Eco-system did not have time to develop, though some activity was felt on the left region of my scalp. Inhabitants managed to escape unseen as brush ravaged newly formed territory.
