DC Comics

I wasn’t sure how much to say after the reboot with DC was announced — but as the lovely Kelly Sue has come forward, I don’t see why I need to stay silent any longer, especially as DC is being criticized for not having more female creators on the reboot.

Like, more than two women — out of one hundred and five men.

Well, they approached me, as well.  As with Kelly, though, the timing could not have been worse, and I would have had to drop everything (a late novel that was I sweating blood to finish) to take on the project that was offered.  Seriously, the turnaround would have been insane.  I didn’t have the time — at all — and as much as I appreciated the invitation (it was a great book, let me tell you), I had to decline.

Here’s a new interview with me over at Comic Book Resources. I discuss X-23, with more thoughts about Gambit, Wolverine, and the current and upcoming arc.  Also, exclusive art from X-23 #12!
