Right, so I was supposed to blog a couple days ago. These crazy holidays never stop, do they?
THE MORTAL BONE hits shelves tomorrow (and here’s the Barnes & Noble link, as well). I don’t know how this crept up on me. It’s like realizing you’re going to have a baby — ten minutes before you give birth.
Aiyeee! This is the fourth book in the Hunter Kiss series, and while there aren’t the huge revelations of the previous installment, Maxine’s life does change forever after this story — starting with the breaking of the bonds between her and the boys. When Zee and the others are ripped off her body — their connection destroyed — what will ultimately hold them together? Friendship? Love? Or will that taste of freedom, their first in ten thousand years, drive those little demons to do the unspeakable: abandon Maxine, and rule the world as Reaper Kings?
