Kale, cucumbers, zucchini, cilantro, limes, lemons, one jalapeno, and ginger root are actually all quite delicious when juiced together. No matter what it looks like. And, lest you forget the health benefits of green living, one drink of this will add ten years and a twinkle in your eye.

Also, it’s snowing tonight, like magic.

Christmas was lovely, and then the next day we got a flat tire in New Jersey.  But that wasn’t so bad.  We were lucky enough to reach a car dealership, and I spent the next two hours in a soft chair watching snow fall and reading comics off my phone.

Something new I love: Paloma Faith’s two albums, Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful and Fall to Grace. Fantastic music, in addition to the soundtrack, Django Unchained (best movie I’ve seen in a long time).

Now, back to work.

  1. I have been green juicing off and on for about a year. I haven’t been adventurous enough to try savory blends yet.

But if you say it’s good I may try it. 🙂

  2. I’ve been drinking green juice since ’98 and the batches with garlic and ginger and cayenne are the best! Adding carrots or beets is as sweet as I go – I don’t like the flavor of fruit mixed in with my greens. I puree mine though instead of juicing so that I get all that great fiber along with the juice.
    Stay warm!
