Early to bed, early to rise. Work like hell and advertise.

I’m a little giddy, because iceprincessd just posted a cool message about my book.

Still writing.  It’s really difficult to stay focused, but I keep reminding myself that all this means nothing if the next book is lousy.  One must keep writing – and writing and writing.  And then revising.  Which means that I get a huge thrill out of every little bit of good news I receive, but that it’s also tempered with a healthy dose of practical pressure.  One book is wonderful – but I don’t want it to be the only book.  I want to keep doing this until the day I die, which means – well, doing this every day…until, um, you know.

I sent out my first official newsletter last night, which details a contest I’m going to hold until April 1st.  If you correctly answer a question about my book, I’ll put you in a drawing for a Barnes and Noble gift certificate.  Interested?  The question is:  What is the name of the night club Dela and her friends visit?
