I’m hot on a deadline, though not yet at the point where I’m losing sleep. Which is good. I prefer being able to answer the call of my pillow when it starts singing lullabies, instead of making the sign of the cross and crying, “Nay! Begone, foul temptation!”
Favorite deadline food – Hot tea and these.
Favorite deadline clothing – Pyjamas!
Favorite deadline music – Depends, but the following is current my novella playlist (click to enlarge)
Books that arrived in the mail:
John L. Gaddis – The Landscape of History: How Historians Map the Past
Lee Child – all his books (thanks a lot, Carolyn)
Kathy Reich – Deja Dead

Yesterday was a nice day. I went for a walk and took the camera with me, which is what I like to do whenever particular seasons start winding down. It’s easy to forget how pretty it is in the summertime when all the leaves start falling off the trees and bad weather moves in.
