When I was going to law school in Madison, I had a friend who dressed up as a cow for Halloween and had good strong liquor stored in his udders. To get a taste, you had to drink directly from the source. I did not partake. I was the girl with the camera. Heh, heh. I think I was pirate that year. In high school I was a cat, but that was not Halloween and involved the beautiful application of kitty-make-up by my friend’s mother, who was an artist for the Seattle Opera—followed by some strange girl on the street seeing me and screaming—and a high school drama teacher who thought it would be appropriate to take his class that night on a field trip to a watering hole of ill-repute where they were putting on a play called Women Behind Bars—an adventure, I kid you not, as we were not actually allowed inside the bar. Gee. Go figure.
Anyway, I hope you all are having a delciously wonderful Halloween! Stay safe. And if you have a moment, check out what Gena Showalter made! That sweet little she-devil! She’s been blogging the heck out of us this week, and this had me choking on grapes.
