I’m back a day early! Caught an early flight out of Chicago, and zipped on down to Indiana. Life is very good.
Before I left on my business trip (which went excellently), I saw my favorite, most delightful, brilliant, cousin (who wants to be an editor for YA novels when she grows up). She’s not allowed to read my books until she’s forty, but as she likes to say, she’s not too young for the merchandise. Of course, she also says I’m stuck in 1998, whatever that means! Here we are, playing Charlie’s Angels in our grandfather’s office (whom my cousin says “is cooler than MacGyver” – and he is).
Read an ARC of Eve Kenin’s DRIVEN on the flight to Chicago, and it is fantastic. Fresh, original, and so well-written that now I feel totally inadequate. You guys have to read it. Think post-apocalyptic Road Warrior, except with Siberian truckers.
I’ll be blogging with Eve in a couple weeks, so watch for it.
