Cows have moved into the neighboorhood. A bit clannish, but as I also like to keep to myself, I’m sure we’ll all get along fine. Frankly, they don’t strike me as the talkative sort. But I’ve been surprised before.
Miss Catty-Anna and Miss Udderstood are the big mommas of the family, and definitely know how to lay down the hoof. The baby is quite shy—never did catch his name—but I assume his daddy is the fellow peeking out of the house.

Individuals and organizations significantly engaged in folk and traditional arts in California are eligible to apply.
501(c)(3) status is not required, however, for-profit entities are ineligible. A maximum of one contract per applicant per twelve-month period will be made.
Consultancies to contract a qualified specialist who can provide needed services to the applicant. Allowable expenses include contract fees, supplies, and travel. ACTA will contract and pay consultants directly for services rendered. Mentorships where applicants work with a proposed mentor to receive focused training in a needed area. Budget may include the mentor�s fee or honoraria, supplies and travel. ACTA will contract and pay mentors directly for training provided. Travel Support reimburses for travel expenses within the U.S. to observe exemplary programs, attend meetings or workshops, interact with colleagues, or attend other activities that promote professional development. Allowable costs include transportation costs, meals, and lodging. Expenses will be reimbursed after travel is completed.
