Starcrossed

Jun 1 By Marjorie

This is the first chance I’ve had to write anything about the season end of JLA, entitled ‘Starcrossed’, but man oh man…that show just blew me away.  I’m sure there are plenty of people who scratch their heads at how an animated show could generate such excitement and glee in a gal, but hey—if they don’t get it, their loss.

I won’t get into the premise of the episode—it comes out on DVD/video in a month or two, and then it will be reaired on Cartoon Network.  Find a way to see it if you can.  If you’re any fan of the JLA, Batman, and the rest of the DC gang, there are too many priceless moments in this show to even consider not watching it.

Personally, the unmasking continues to be one of my favorites—that, and the Batman/WW moment.  Had me squealing.

“Wally West. Clark Kent. Bruce Wayne.”

“Wait for it.”

“Kiss my axe!”

Wheeee!
