So, I’m working like a fiend in the sun room, I happen to look up, and who do I see making tracks across the driveway? A turtle! Plenty of woods and ponds for him (or her) to get lost in. I was certainly in his way, that’s for sure. These little fellows are always in the road during the summer months, and there have been times that I’ve hopped from the car to move them aside (why do turtles cross the road, I wonder). Someone will probably tell me that’s the wrong thing to do, but I figure it’s that or have them get hit by a car.
Anyway, I’m not sure what kind of turtle this is, so if anyone knows, feel free to educate me. What a great way to kick off June!
