As usual, I’m juggling about ten different things at once—but they’re all exciting, and some of them will be announced soon. That’s right! New stuff!
In the meantime, some shots from today. There are no parking meters in China (why automate, when you can give the job to a person), but there are men and women who hang out in an official capacity and collect the requisite fees. Parking your car in Shanghai is about five times more expensive than doing the same in Beijing. Don’t know why. Anyway, the dude relaxing in the first shot is one of the regular parking attendants who handles this quiet little neighborhood.
Check out the wide load in the second picture—I was too slow getting out my camera, but that monstrosity was on the back of a regular sized bike, ridden on the sidewalk by a man who was holding it in place with one hand behind him. Even the picture doesn’t do the sight justice.
Oh, yes—and a woman, about to be consumed by wild beasts.
