Not quite home yet, but wanted to give a quick update from the road. The signing at Alter Ego Comics was fantastic! It was my first in-store comic book signing, and what a wonderful experience. The place was packed with adults and children who wanted to check out the free comics being offered—and Sean McKeever and I signed A LOT. That’s a nice feeling, which I know might seem like a peculiar thing to say, but it’s hard sometimes to have a decent turn-out at a signing, which means you (or rather, I) end up twiddling your (my) thumbs, and feeling just a tad lonely.
Well, that didn’t happen on Saturday!
The guys at Alter Ego Comics are incredibly nice, and I appreciate them being such wonderful hosts. Sean McKeever was a great seat-mate—and better yet, I found out he’s from Wisconsin. I’ve decided that I need to start a new 6 Degrees of Separation game, but instead of Kevin Bacon, I’ll be looking for people with connections to Appleton.
See below, Jason (the owner of the store) and Sean! We bonded.
