So. Tomorrow is my birthday, which is not a hint for well wishes or anything of the sort—only, I mention it because a year ago today I was in East Lansing at the Clarion Writers Workshop, and in the afternoon I went upstairs to my little room in the Kappa house to check my email and found that I had received a one line note from an editor at Dorchester, who wanted me to call and talk to him about the book I had submitted.
A lot can change in a year. Today is the deadline for my fourth professional sale. You cant ask for a much better birthday present than that.
Which means that X-Men: Dark Mirror is done! Yay! Now I just need to revise the heck out of it.
