Back from Daytona

May 26 Marjorie

I’m alive, which really isn’t saying much.  Deadline hell has turned into deadline disaster, but I’m still rolling, playing my rock & roll, and typing like a crazy person.  RT was fun.  I saw good friends, potentially made new friends, and the readers and booksellers were kind and gracious and wonderful as usual.  I love you guys.

Australians!  Plus, some of us authors.

I was on a paranormal romance panel with Cindy Cruciger, Mary Janice Davidson, and Diedre Knight.  Lots of fun.  I don’t know exactly what was tickling my funny bone in that picture, but I’m sure it was good.

The people who attended the panel were just lovely, and I enjoyed speaking with them so much.  Here’s some pictures.

Surrounded by all my books!  What a fantastic feeling!

I met Adenike in St. Louis at last year’s RT and was so happy to see her again.  She’s a doctor and saves lives in Arizona.  grin

Camille is another writer, and just about the kindest soul a person could hope to meet.

Calista Cahill and myself.

The wonderful Cheryl Nagy.

Deanie!

Kelly Armstrong!

Diane Stacy works at Dorchester and handles the direct sales / Bookclub portion of the company.  She is a sweetheart, and a blast to be around.

Me and my editor, Chris Keeslar.

The lovely and talented Gennita Low, who writes fantastic romantic thrillers/suspense, sat behind me at the booksigning (although this was taken the night before at the fairy ball, and let me tell you—that chick knows how to boogie).

That’s it for now.  I’ve changed the look of the website once again.  It’t not quite as snazzy, but I wanted something simple.
