Random Stuff of Interest:
1. Yesterday was the official release date of DARK DREAMERS, an anthology with myself and the lovely Christine Feehan. I haven’t blogged much about my novella, for reasons I’ve already gone into—namely, it’s quite dark—but it has gargoyles and action, kidnapped children, some new agents of Dirk & Steele—and one or two characters that are familiar faces. It also takes place at the same time as THE RED HEART OF JADE, and spans the globe, from the USA to Scotland. I hope you all enjoy.
2. The Levy tour was featured on the CBS evening news in Chicago. Here’s the broadcast, which is a lot of fun to watch.
3. Gena Showalter has blogged about the tour! And yes, before you ask, I did spank her. The bus was a jungle, crazy! Authors Gone Wild! And she was a very bad girl. Totally had it coming. You guys should check out her latest book, which will be released early next week. It’s called Playing with Fire, about a girl who discovers she can control the four elements—and who just might be killed because of it.
4. John Scalzi won the Campbell award at Worldcon, which is cool beyond words. He’s also written up a lengthy and very entertaining description of his Worldcon experience. In other awards-related news, John Picacio raked in a big one. Yay!
