Monstress #2

Maika is on the run after breaking into the stronghold of a powerful human religious order and stealing an ancient artifact, in hope that it will provide a clue to her past and the creature that is mysteriously linked to her body and mind.

As she flees from the city towards the wall that divides the land, Maika is aided by human and supernatural companions alike. But her journey is not that simple — she continues to grapple with a monstrous hunger from within, and is pursued by a group of warriors who want to contain her power and take back all that she stole.
