In the wake of her escape from the city of Zamora, Maika has been pursued by various factions of human warriors. The Arcanic Courts also have a stake in this uprising conflict — including a mysterious Warlord who is hunting down the otherworldly monster that lives beneath Maika’s skin.

Maika’s world is becoming even more dangerous as she continues to search for answers about her mysterious past. Meanwhile, the monster within her grows more powerful and poses a greater threat to her and her companions, a young Arcanic girl named Kippa and an enigmatic cat named Master Ren.
