Out by Natsuo Kirino – a fascinating look at feminism and the underworld of modern Japan.
Dogs and Demons: Tales from the Dark Side of Modern Japan by Alex Kerr – a collection of essays on the problems facing Japan.
What Rough Beast by H.R. Knight – Harry Houdini and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle fight evil.
The Art of Possibility by Rosamund Stone Zander and Benjamin Zander – nice insights in living life to the fullest.
Mutants by Armand Marie Leroi – a study on genetic variety and the human body.
