Yes, I find the Starbucks in any city I’m in. Of course, I lived in Beijing off and on for three years, and this was one of my favorite spots during that time. It’s a great place for people watching. Chinese rock stars pass through, I once saw Uma Thurman conducting an interview in this spot, and the drinks are good. Also, free wireless! Fabulous.
So, this picture was taken all of two minutes ago. I’m working on the galley for THE ROBBER BRIDE, a novella coming out in a couple months from St. Martins in the anthology, HUNTRESS—and after I’m done with that, I’ll be putting the finishing touches on a new proposal.
