Some interesting articles (well, interesting to me, at least):
So what do you do if you don’t want to pay New York City rents anymore? Buy an RV and park it on the street! I dig this idea, though not having running water would be rough. Oh, and having to empty out the porta-potty on a regular basis. Here’s the link: http://www.nytimes.com/2004/05/08/nyregion/08CAMP.html
And then: “They are looking for a noble giant hiding in an overgrown field or standing sentinel over a disappeared farm, an elm that is not just an isolated wallflower that somehow escaped infection, but rather a true survivor that could yield the secret to its indestructibility…” With lines like that, how can you not read about the Mother of all Elms? I’m pooped. It’s probably dehydration, because last night I had a run-in with some nasty bug. What a drag! I went for a walk and it was all I could do just to make it home. Ah, but the sun is shining, the garden is blooming, and the wind smells sweet. Life is still good.
