Twenty pounds of cat just landed hard on my chest. I was—am—on the couch, writing, which apparently was a landing pad too good to pass up. And me, being distracted, was not fast enough to block the falling orange bomb. So I’m writing this blog post while trying to peer over a very large back—fur in my nostrils—and claws occasionally nipping my stomach. The Siamese is on the arm of the couch behind my head, another cat is on the back of the couch, looking amused—and a fourth one is somewhere on my right, chirping. I don’t know where the fifth cat is, but I suspect he’s quite literally under the covers.
But it’s a lovely rainy day, and I’m thinking of baking with this new almond flour I bought (already used some to make a banana chocolate chip cake that turned out pretty tasty). Any other gluten-free recipe recommendations?
