My inner X-Men fan is screaming.
Or maybe just whimpering. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed myself. But I got spoiled on Bryan Singer’s thoughtfulness, on his quiet moments, on his intelligent movie making. And this…was slightly less than all that. So sad. Especially for Jean. For a woman who has the reputation of being “The Destroyer of Worlds,” she sure didn’t have much to do.
Whatever you do, though, stay until the very end of the credits. There’s a surprise worth waiting for.
