Words.

Dec 2 By Marjorie

“Men have always ruled the world, but that’s all over now, because we are coming and we are coming in a storm. I believe girls are going to take over the world. Men have been in control for long enough, but don’t worry; we are prepared to share power.” 17-year-old schoolgirl Yoliswa Sibeko

Yesterday was Blog Against Racism day, in honor of Rosa Park’s arrest.  The Smart Bitches and PBW had some words.

Me?  Not so eloquent on the matter of racism.  It exists, and in many different forms that are not confined to race, but encompass gender, religion, money, orientation, and more.  Everyone is guilty of it to some degree, minor or major, because people pick on people, pure and simple.  There will always be something that makes humans want to get their digs in.  It’s an ugly world.  I just hope that we can make it better.

Actually, I know we can.

So, there.

Monstress will be back on January 23rd!
