I’m flying to Wyoming tomorrow to participate in the Launch Pad Astronomy Workshop, which is funded by NASA. The best description of what it’s about can be found in its tag line: improving science literacy through words and media.
Rock on!
Also, another reminder that tonight at 8 PM, I’ll be on ISIS Paranormal Radio, talking about books, comics…and the paranormal. Feel free to call in with questions!
Hey, for something scary, check this out:
I found that under the eaves of the old farmhouse. I was down there rooting around the tomatoes, when I looked up and nearly had a heart attack. There’s no good way to convey just how large that wasp nest is (and I’m going to assume it’s a wasp nest until someone tells me otherwise), because it looks kind of small in that picture—but I’d say it’s at least a foot and a half across, maybe two feet. Which means it’s BIG ENOUGH.
It doesn’t seem to be active anymore. Not that I poked it to make sure, or anything.
Finally, my baby melon has grown! And it has a sibling!
I’ll be leaving my laptop at home and relying just on my new iPad for the next week. Expect tweets and blogs, and pictures from Wyoming!
