I’m so excited! Yesterday I received the first galley of Tiger Eye, and with it was about 100 cover flats of my book!!! I still have trouble believing this is all happening, but being able to hold the cover in my hands…wow. It’s a dream come true. Anyway, here’s a picture of what it looks like:
The woman on the cover is supposed to be the heroine of my noveI. The cover flats they sent me are for advertising purposes, although I suppose I could do just about anything I want with them. Actually, what the heck! The first five people to sign my LJ will get a signed copy of the new flat (I’ll contact you later for your mailing information).
I need to review the galley for any typos (the publisher is doing the same thing, but two pairs of eyes are better than one), and then get it back to them by 10/20. On top of that, I still need to finish the other book, which is due to my editor by 12/1. I’m tired, but happy.
